Delmar International is seeking an experienced local delivery driver to cover GTA pickups and deliveries, ensuring freight is transported safely and on time. You will perform local runs, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

The role requires an AZ/DZ license, a clean driving record, and 5+ years of professional driving experience, with strong knowledge of GTA routes and traffic patterns.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid AZ or DZ license and a clean driver's abstract.
• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience within GTA.
• Strong knowledge of GTA routes and traffic patterns.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.

Reporting to the Safety and Compliance Supervisor, the driver will be responsible for local pickups and deliveries throughout the Greater Toronto Area, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform local pickups and deliveries within the GTA
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure freight is secured and transported safely
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Comply with all applicable transportation regulations and company policies
