Job summary

Midland Transport Limited is seeking AZ Linehaul Truck Drivers for US Triangle routes. Base in Ontario with duties including linehaul to the US East Coast and back, delivering freight and ensuring on-time performance.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, safe operation, and effective communication with dispatch. The role requires flexibility for varied shifts and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • AZ driver’s license with at least 4 years of North American tractor-trailer experience.
  • Clean driving record and criminal search clearance.
  • Eligible for FAST card and crossing the US border.
  • Familiar with satellite navigation/satellite systems.
  • Excellent communication, strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs with proper equipment.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Run linehaul routes from Ontario to the Maritimes and into the US eastern seaboard and return.
  • Deliver freight to assigned locations and ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle offloads and manage freight equipment safely.
  • Maintain clear communication with central dispatch and customers.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections.
  • Report incidents or damages promptly and comply with safety rules.

Job description

Midland Transport Limitedis currently seeking professional AZ Linehaul Truck Drivers – US Triangle.The Driver can be based out of any major city in Ontario.

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

Schedule: Runt starts on Saturday, takes around 5 days to complete.

  • USA miles paid in CAD: $0.646 per mile.

  • Running Linehaul from Ontario to the Maritimes into United States eastern seaboard, and then back to Ontario.
  • Deliver freight to assigned locationsensuring timely delivery.
  • Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
  • Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
  • Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
  • Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.
Qualifications
  • Education Required: High School or GED.
  • AZ driver's license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal search.
  • Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
  • Eligibility to cross the border with US.
  • Familiarity with satellite systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
