Job summary

Contrans Vrac is seeking an experienced full-time Company Driver for Canada/US routes. Openings: 3. You will be responsible for pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading bulk materials, tarping, and trailer maintenance on a cross-border route.

The role requires an AZ license with 1 year of heavy haul experience (or 3 years over-the-road), ability to lift 20–25 kg, and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing. You will interact with dispatch, safety, and customers on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• AZ license is required and minimum 1 year heavy haul experience, or 3 years over-the-road experience.
• Physically capable to climb 12' into/out of dump trailers and lift 20–25 kg as needed.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Load and unload bulk/dump products.
• Tarp and secure trailers; manage cross bows as needed.
• Clean trailers after unloading, including frozen products inside.
• Address malfunctioning equipment and ensure proper axle weight knowledge.
• Drive on Canada/US routes; handle shifting transmission.
• Navigate loading sites with uneven ground and follow dispatch instructions.
• Maintain logs and trip envelopes; coordinate with safety and dispatch.
• Keep truck clean inside and perform fueling as required.
