Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking AZ/DZ drivers to join its growing team in Kitchener. The role involves collecting solid waste from customer sites, driving various trucks, loading/unloading, and completing paperwork.

You’ll interact with customers, stay in close contact with dispatch, and work within a supportive, safety‑driven culture. Home every night and year‑round opportunities. The position offers full benefits, potential profit sharing, clothing allowances, and options to own company

Qualifications

• Valid AZ/DZ license, clean drivers abstract and CVOR.
• Manual dexterity; ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Will work both indoors and outdoors.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks and equipment that fits a DZ or AZ license (Molok, Roll Off Trucks, etc).
• Load and unload trucks.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and government documents.
• Speak with customers and verify satisfaction with our service.
• Maintain close communication with supervisor/dispatcher daily.
• Work as part of a team to service all customers professionally and timely.

GFL Environmental is currently seeking to add safe and talented AZ and DZ Drivers to our growing team out of Kitchener. The AZ /DZ Driver will collect various solid wastes from different customer sites. We are dedicated to providing a safe and positive workplace to all of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of truck and equipment that fits a DZ or AZ license (Molok, Roll Off Trucks, etc)

Will be required to load and unload trucks.

Required to complete all necessary paperwork and government documents.

Speaking with the customers and verifying they are satisfied with our service.

Keeping in close contact with supervisor/dispatcher is required on a daily basis.

You will generally work without direct supervision but will always be part of a team that works together to make sure all customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Valid AZ/DZ license, clean drivers abstract and CVOR

Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs. required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
