Job summary

Fidelity Freight Inc. in Canada is seeking experienced AZ/DZ drivers to join our team. You will ensure timely project completion, maintain safety standards, and support a high level of customer satisfaction across sites.

Responsibilities

  • Complete driver’s log per MTO regulations and perform pre-trip inspections.

  • Transport and position various equipment (pavers, curb machines, graders, excavators).
  • Load/unload heavy equipment with proper chains, binders, and blocking.
  • Maintain and inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Position Summary

Our high-growth business is seeking experienced AZ/DZ Drivers to join the Fidelity Freight Inc. team.

This position will play a key role in the organization’s ability to efficiently meet project deadlines and contribute to the organization’s total customer satisfaction effort.

Core Responsibilities
  • Complete driver’s log as per MTO regulations along with pre-trip inspections.
  • Adhere to all preferred work methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for floating various types of material and construction equipment, including but not limited to: pavers, curb machines, graders and excavators.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading heavy equipment and ensuring that any load has adequate chains, binders and blocking prior to transport.
  • General maintenance and visual inspection of all equipment, trucks and trailers.
  • Comply with company and equipment safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Support all team members as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • AZ or DZ License is required.
  • Clean CVOR and Driver Abstract.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Industry experience will be preferred.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Able to work long days, flexible work hours and weekends.
  • Must have reliable access to a smart phone throughout the workday for contact and inspection or reporting completion, if required.
