Job summary

Associated Paving & Materials Ltd. is seeking a reliable AZ/DZ Driver to join our construction team in the Halton region.

The successful candidate will safely operate heavy trucks to transport materials and aggregates to and from construction sites, while maintaining high safety and equipment-care standards. Key duties include vehicle inspections, logbooks, and effective communication with dispatch and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ or DZ license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating commercial vehicles (construction experience preferred).
• Knowledge of MTO regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ or DZ class vehicles safely and efficiently (dump trucks, tri-axles, tractor-trailers, etc.).
• Transport construction materials such as asphalt, gravel, soil, equipment, and debris.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logbooks.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.
• Follow all company policies, Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations, and safety procedures.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Driver to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy trucks to transport materials, and aggregates to and from construction sites while maintaining a high standard of safety, professionalism, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate AZ or DZ class vehicles safely and efficiently (dump trucks, tri-axles, tractor-trailers, etc.)
• Transport construction materials such as asphalt, gravel, soil, equipment, and debris
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logbooks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel

Qualifications & Requirements
