Advantage Personnel Ltd. is seeking a AZ Propane Tanker Driver to support propane deliveries to commercial customers across Ottawa and nearby regions. Drivers operate from designated terminals and undertake long-haul runs, typically four consecutive days on the road, with a rotating schedule and day or night shifts.

Paid training is provided, and safety equipment is supplied. Applicants must hold a valid AZ license with 3+ years of tractor-trailer experience, and pass CVOR and background checks.

Qualifications

• AZ license with at least 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record, CVOR, and criminal background check required.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, plus some holidays.
• Comfortable with long-haul work and overnight stays in truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane tanker truck safely and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery to assigned customers.
• Complete all required documentation, including accurate ELD logs and trip reports.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
• Comply with all transportation regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards during deliveries.
• Maintain current knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and other relevant safety protocols.

Job Title: AZ Propane Tanker Driver

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing

Hourly Pay Rate: $32/hour + Overtime after 60 hours – Payroll only

Schedule: 3–4 shifts per week, 12–14 hours per shift (day or night), sleeper berth truck

This role will support in making propane deliveries to commercial customers throughout Ottawa and nearby regions. Drivers will start their routes from one of three designated terminals: Valleyfield, QC; Nappanee, ON; or Stittsville, ON. This role involves extended trips — typically four consecutive days on the road — requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a propane tanker truck safely and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery to assigned customers.
• Complete all required documentation, including accurate ELD logs and trip reports.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
• Comply with all transportation regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards during deliveries.
• Maintain current knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and other relevant safety protocols.
