Are you a motivated and reliable owner-operator with a single-axle tractor-trailer looking for a consistent local opportunity?

We are seeking an AZ Owner Operator for City Pickup & Delivery in the Barrie area.

• Responsible for pickup and delivery of freight within the Barrie service area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Efficiently and safely pick up and deliver LTL freight.
• Prioritize all shipments to meet critical deadlines and ensure reliable deliveries.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and dock personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload your own truck.
• Minimum wage of $40.00/hour, approximately 10 hours per day.
• Incentive-based environment with potential to earn more than $40.00/hour.
• Must have your truck available daily for assignments.
• Maintain a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• AZ license with a clean abstract.
• Single-axle tractor preferred; tandem tractors considered.
• Owns newer equipment (2017 or newer).
• WSIB coverage.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Reliable and dependable.
• TDG, WHMIS, and forklift experience are assets but training can be provided.
• Ability to provide a criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and three work references.
