We are seeking a motivated and reliable owner-operator with a single-axle tractor-trailer for local city pickup and delivery in Barrie and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to partner with a stable and expanding organization that recognizes and rewards hard work and commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of freight within the Barrie service area, following company policies and procedures.
• Efficient and safe handling of LTL freight.
• Prioritize shipments to meet critical commitments and ensure reliable deliveries.
• Coordinate with dispatch and dock personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload your own truck.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Starting wage approximately $40.00/hour for roughly 10 hours a day.
• Incentive-based environment with potential to earn more than $40.00/hour.
• Must have truck available daily for assignments.

Qualifications:

• AZ license with a clean abstract.
• Single axle tractor preferred; tandem tractors considered.
• Own newer equipment (2017 or newer).
• WSIB coverage.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Training available for TDG, WHMIS, and forklift if needed.
• Ability to provide criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and three work-related references.
