City of Penticton is seeking a temporary full-time AWWTP Millwright for a 2‑month term in Penticton, BC. The role covers installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment at the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, lift stations and related infrastructure.
Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years in industrial maintenance, CMMS proficiency, and safety certifications. A valid BC Class 5 driver’s license is required.

The AWWTP Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of mechanical equipment and systems associated with the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, lift stations, reclaimed water facilities, and related infrastructure.

Compensation based on skills and experience is anhourly rate of $46.22 -$50.99 (Pay Grade 17, 40 hours per week, CUPE), along with a host of excellent benefits including:
