Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect specialized in Data & AI to lead the design and delivery of scalable AWS-based data platforms.

You will work with executives and technical teams to translate business needs into robust data architectures and governance. You will reinforce lakehouse/medallion architecture, integrate GenAI capabilities, and drive production deployments with measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and PySpark development experience.
• Expert in OO design and pandas.
• Proficient in SQL queries.
• Experience building enterprise-scale Data Platforms on AWS.
• Knowledge of GenAI and AI guardrails integration.
• Experience delivering architecture through production deployments and operations.
• Terraform/Terragrunt experience is required.
• Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions with executives and run hands-on workshops.
• Architect and build enterprise-scale Data Platforms on AWS.
• Design reference architectures, high- and low-level designs.
• Troubleshoot complex data, integration and performance issues.
• Convert architecture into production deployments and operations.
• Develop APIs on AWS.

• Deep understanding of Data Architecture, Medallion/Lakehouse, Data Products, Data Pipelines, Semantic Layers, metadata, governance and security.
• Strong understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI architectures and their integration with enterprise data
• Experience taking solutions from architecture through implementation, production deployment and operationalization
• Ability to troubleshoot complex code, data, integration and performance issues
• Strong experience creating Reference Architectures, HLDs and LLDs
• Ability to lead executive conversations as well as hands-on technical workshops

Must Have

• Sound knowledge in python as programming language. Should be expert in oops programming, and pandas as well.
• Very good knowledge in Pyspark.
• Sound understanding of Data engineering stack in AWS.(EMR/Glue/Athena/Lakeformation/Lambda/SQS/SNS/S3 etc)
• Strong in IAC(infra as code) using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Sound knowledge in SQL queries.

Good to have.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
