Job summary

EXP is seeking a Project Manager in Aviation Sustainability & Resilience to join the Greater Toronto Area team. You will lead sustainability strategy, coordinate certifications, and engage stakeholders across the US and Canada.

The role supports a hybrid/remote work arrangement from GTA with an employee-owned culture. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering or sustainability management and 7+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainable built

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with relevant sustainability project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
• Passion for sustainability in built environments, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to execute with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted member of the team to provide tailored sustainability strategy, design and solutions to clients.
• Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts (e.g., LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, ENV).
• Develop and maintain a strong professional network and participate in industry activities as needed.
• Communicate with and engage stakeholders to educate on sustainability value and impacts.
• Assist with renewable energy analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, embodied carbon LCA, and carbon neutral building assessments.
• Synthesize research findings into key themes and draft recommendations for deliverables.
• Collaborate to optimize workflows including AI for improved productivity.
• Collect, organize, and trend large datasets from various departments.
