Job summary

EXP is seeking a Project Manager for Aviation Sustainability & Resilience to join our regional Aviation team. The role supports infrastructure projects across the United States and Canada, with remote or hybrid work options out of major offices, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.

You will lead sustainability strategy development, coordinate certification efforts, engage stakeholders, and analyze data to deliver high-quality, data-driven deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with relevant sustainability project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for sustainability in the built environment and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to execute with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate sustainability strategies and solutions for clients.
• Support certification efforts (LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, ENV, etc.).
• Engage stakeholders to explain the value of sustainability initiatives.
• Perform renewable energy analyses, GHG inventories and embodied carbon LCA.
• Synthesize findings into themes and draft actionable recommendations.

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of our regional Aviation team, for exciting Infrastructure projects in the United States & Canada. This position can be remote and/or hybrid based out of one of our major offices preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Serve as a trusted member of the team, working together to provide tailored sustainability strategy, design and solutions to our clients.
• Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts (e.g., LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, ENV, etc.).
• Strong professional network, industry association participation, linked-in presence, and conference presentation experience considered an asset.
• Help communicate with and engage stakeholders pertinent to each client’s sustainability strategy, educating all on the value of sustainability and the impact of sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Assist with renewable energy analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, embodied carbon LCA, and carbon neutral building assessments.
• Synthesize research findings into key themes, analyze information to develop conclusions and draft recommendations for a variety of deliverables.
• Experience optimizing workflows with AI for improved productivity and responsible integration into client deliverables considered essential.
• Collect, organize, and trend large datasets and analyze from various departments and partners.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Management team.
• Produce high quality, visually compelling presentations and deliverables.
• Facilitate conversations between multiple stakeholders to devise sustainability strategies

What Your Experience Looks Like

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with relevant sustainability project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
• Passion for sustainability in the bult environment, aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to execute with minimal oversight.
