Job summary

EXP is seeking a Project Manager - Aviation Sustainability & Resilience in the Greater Toronto Area. The role supports regional aviation projects in the United States & Canada, with potential remote/hybrid work from major offices in the GTA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with relevant sustainability project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to organize and present design information to clients.
• Passion for sustainability in the built environment, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to execute with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted member of the regional Aviation team delivering sustainability design and solutions.
• Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts (LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, ENV, etc.).
• Communicate with stakeholders to educate on sustainability value.
• Analyze renewable energy, greenhouse gas inventories, embodied carbon LCA.
• Synthesize research into key themes and draft recommendations.
• Produce high-quality, visually compelling presentations and deliverables.
• Lead conversations to devise sustainability strategies.

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of our regional Aviation team, for exciting Infrastructure projects in the United States & Canada. This position can be remote and/or hybrid based out of one of our major offices preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Serve as a trusted member of the team, working together to provide tailored sustainability strategy, design and solutions to our clients.
• Support sustainability strategy development and certification efforts (e.g., LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, ENV, etc.).
• Strong professional network, industry association participation, linked-in presence, and conference presentation experience considered an asset.
• Help communicate with and engage stakeholders pertinent to each client’s sustainability strategy, educating all on the value of sustainability and the impact of sustainability strategies and initiatives.
• Assist with renewable energy analysis, greenhouse gas inventories, embodied carbon LCA, and carbon neutral building assessments.
• Synthesize research findings into key themes, analyze information to develop conclusions and draft recommendations for a variety of deliverables.
• Experience optimizing workflows with AI for improved productivity and responsible integration into client deliverables considered essential.
• Collect, organize, and trend large datasets and analyze from various departments and partners.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Management team.
• Produce high quality, visually compelling presentations and deliverables.
• Facilitate conversations between multiple stakeholders to devise sustainability strategies

What Your Experience Looks Like

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability management or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with relevant sustainability project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
• Passion for sustainability in the bult environment, aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to execute with minimal oversight.

The salary range for this role is between $110-120K annually. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
