Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. is seeking personnel to join its aviation maintenance team in a dynamic, high-performance environment. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining jet engine components in adherence to manufacturer instructions and safety standards.

Candidates should have aeronautical industry experience, be autonomous, meticulous, and able to handle chemicals and physical tasks. The position offers competitive pay with a second shift premium and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the aeronautical field / manufacturing industry an asset.

  • Be able to work with and manipulate chemical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with others to make suggestions and improve procedures
  • Must follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning aircraft engine components
  • Mechanical and chemical cleaning, sandblasting of aeronautical parts
  • Check output for consistency with specifications and eliminate defects
  • May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation or center to another
  • May be required to lift parts up to 20 pounds
  • May be required to work in another category.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this position is $21.09 to $34.35 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time , and career progression, hourly compensation may increase to a maximum of $45.48 Employees working the second shift receive an additional shift premium of $1.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for overtime.

Language Requirements In Quebec

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
