This mid-level Installer position will be completing installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating racks, mounting projectors, screens and video walls.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Review Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Perform comprehensive, onsite commercial audio-visual installation including low voltage wiring, rack setup, projector and screen installations, speakers and control systems.
• Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables.
• Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists.
• Willing to work out of town, overnight travel will be required.
• Willing to work overtime as needed (time in lieu) to meet promises to clients.

Skills And Abilities:

• Ability to work and think independently and work under tight deadlines.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control.
• Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Willing to mentor Junior level installers.

Education And/or Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience.
• Post-secondary education in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a relevant field is preferred.
• Any industry recognized training is preferred: Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante.

Safety:

• Bondable, clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts.
• Trade certifications: WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety Certifications.
