Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg seeks a Nurse Practitioner to autonomously order tests, interpret results, and prescribe pharmacologic care within primary/clinic settings. You will apply advanced nursing theory to plan and evaluate complex patient care, collaborate with physicians, and contribute to knowledge development.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professional standards, and engaging in Indigenous Safety initiatives while meeting CRNM requirements and travel

Qualifications

• Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Stream or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification (active and renewed within the last year).
• Indigenous Cultural Safety Training required.
• Active RN Extended Practice registration and CRNM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe pharmacologic agendas.
• Apply advanced nursing and medical theory to deliver complex clinical care.
• Contribute to nursing knowledge and professional development.
• Promote health, plan and evaluate complex care, and teach others.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to solve problems.
