Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master’s degree.
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of comprehensive health services as an NP in the geriatric ED setting.
• Conduct geriatric assessments, diagnose, order tests, prescribe treatment and perform procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to support discharge planning and community follow‑ups.
