Qualifications

• Must have a provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate (or in process).
• Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
• Completion of related post-secondary program or training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect critical components.
• Repair or replace parts as needed and document work on the repair order.
• Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and customer communications.
