Job summary

Tenneco is searching for an Automotive Product Specialist to cover British Columbia. The role focuses on technical product knowledge, demonstrations, and training for DRiV brands across the province.

The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal Endorsement, has 5+ years of automotive service experience, and can travel as needed. Competitive CAD salary with benefits and a car allowance are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Current or in-progress Red Seal Endorsed Automotive Trades.
• 5+ years of applied automotive service experience.
• Experience leading technical demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel; strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience communicating with automotive technicians; CRM and collaboration tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule meetings, shop visits, and training sessions with automotive service providers
• Demonstrate, instruct, guide, and answer questions to support customer use of DRiV product lines
• Provide product demonstrations, training, and technical education on DRiV products
• Deliver technical presentations to enhance customer knowledge of DRiV products and services
• Represent DRiV at career fairs, expos, and other events to promote the profession of automotive technician
• Communicate project status and sales KPIs to internal sales organization
• Maintain records of all activities using CRM system
• Build customer support for DRiV brands and product lines
• Leverage various marketing channels to feature new and existing products
