Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is seeking a Shop Assistant to join the Audi Queensway team in Toronto, Ontario. The role offers a $21/hour pay rate and involves tire storage, vehicle movement, and assisting technicians with repairs.

Responsibilities include organizing wheels, maintaining the shop and lot, and performing routine inspections. A valid Ontario driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience is required, along with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be hardworking and organized, and able to work in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Ability to provide meticulous work.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with 3+ years of driving experience.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Tire Storage: Review appointments for tire storage and remove wheels from storage racks.
• Scan and organize wheels to be placed back on storage racks.
• Clean and organize shop and other areas as needed.
• Arrange and organize vehicles on the lot to maximize space and appearance.
• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs.
• Ship parts and possibly other items to various locations.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and report issues.
• Drive vehicles to and from various locations when needed.
• Wash vehicles and assist with Service Drive team.
• Perform regular lot maintenance tasks including snow removal during inclement weather.
