Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies invites applications for a Shop Assistant at Audi Queensway in Ontario. The role includes tire storage, organizing wheels, vehicle prep, and supporting the Service Drive team in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Must be able to work outdoors year-round, drive manual and automatic transmissions, and hold a valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean record. Competitive pay rate of $21/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be hardworking and organized, and able to work in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Ability to provide meticulous work.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with 3+ years of driving experience.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract.

Responsibilities

• Tire Storage: Review appointments for tire storage and remove wheels from storage racks. Place wheels in shop vehicle and bring all wheels to dealership.
• Scan and organize wheels to be placed back on storage racks.
• Clean and organize shop and other areas as needed.
• Arrange and organize vehicles on the lot to maximize space and enhance the overall appearance.
• Assist technicians with vehicle repairs.
• Ship parts and possibly other items to various locations.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and report any damages or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Drive vehicles to and from various locations when needed.
• Wash vehicles and assist with Service Drive team.
• Perform regular lot maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, trash removal, and snow removal during inclement weather.
