Job summary

OpenRoad Audi Boundary in Burnaby is hiring a Shop Helper for a full-time role in the Service department. The position involves safe shuttle services, keeping the service area clean, and assisting with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including tire machine use.

Qualifications

• Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to work under deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Technicians.
• Excellent attention to detail and high quality control standards.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess a valid British Columbia Driver’s License and provide a current driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for clients to and from the dealership.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service department and lot.
• Wash and vacuum vehicles after service repair.
• Greet customers in a professional manner.
• Direct customers to the right personnel for further assistance.
• Ensure the department is free from clutter and kept tidy at all times.
• Assist Technicians with basic mechanical tasks up to using a tire machine.
• Follow company safety policies and report accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for clients to and from the dealership
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the service department and lot.
• Washing andvacuuming vehicles after service repair.
• Greeting customers with a professional manner.
• Directing customers to the right personnel for further assistance.
• Ensuring department is free from clutter and is kept tidy and clean at all times.
• Assist Technician upon request in basic mechanical tasks up to and including using a tire machine.
• Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
• This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Possess a valid British Columbia Driver’s License, ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, and present a current copy of your driver’s abstract (ICBC driver’s record) for review.
