Motion Mazda is seeking a 310S Licensed Automotive Technician to join our high-volume shop. We offer a competitive compensation package including a flat hourly rate ranging from $70,000 to $125,000 per year, a lucrative production bonus, a tool and boot allowance, and a $5,000 signing bonus paid after three and six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine safety or service work needed.
• Prepare detailed reports on repairs.
• Estimate flat rate times using manuals and policies.
• Obtain parts prices and availability.
• Perform work efficiently and accurately per standards.
• Order parts upon authorization and document accordingly.
• Road-test vehicles after service as needed.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of work.
• Supervise apprentices and report deficiencies.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on technical bulletins.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive mechanical operations.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Willingness to learn and succeed.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
