Job summary

Tirecraft is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and service a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on safety and quality. You will use advanced electrical diagnostics and scanning tools, perform preventative maintenance, and keep clear repair documentation while collaborating with Service Advisors and teammates.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of 35–44 CAD, three weeks of vacation, health and LTD benefits, and tire/service discounts.

Qualifications

• Journeyman status or 4th-year apprentice considered if you can demonstrate why you are the best option.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent electrical knowledge within automotive service.
• Familiarity with scanning tools, manuals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (up to 1-ton trucks).
• Perform advanced electrical and computer-based diagnostics using scanning tools.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate clearly with Service Advisors and team members.
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and team-oriented shop culture.

• Perform advanced electrical and computer-based diagnostics using scanning tools.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate clearly with Service Advisors and team members.
• Contribute to a safe, positive, and team-oriented shop culture.

What We're Looking For
