Job description

At Serra of Jackson, we offer a friendly and professional shopping experience to each and every guest from initial greeting to vehicle delivery and follow-up in order to maintain lasting relationships. We are adding a Service Technician to our growing team!

Responsibilities:

1. Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
4. Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
5. Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Job Requirements:

1. High School diploma.
2. Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
3. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
4. Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
5. A fast learner.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Excellent Customer Service Skills.
8. Team Player.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license.
10. Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean.
11. To maintain his stall in an orderly and clean manner.
