The Technician works to deliver high-quality service, stay updated on training, and uphold brand expectations while contributing to overall service department success.

Qualifications

• College diploma or trade certificate in automotive studies or equivalent.
• AST Certification of Qualification, Class A.
• Valid driver's license for province of employment.
• Ideally two years minimum as an Automotive Service Technician.
• One year brand product experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work.
• Provide written, prioritized quotes for required work.
• Explain procedures to the Service Advisor.
• Perform road tests and safety inspections.
• Document findings clearly throughout the service process.
• Maintain dealership standards and cleanliness.
