Role Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  2. Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect critical vehicle components.
  3. Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
  4. Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealership and OEM standards.
  5. Communicate effectively with Parts and Service Advisors.
  6. Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  7. Document all work performed accurately on repair orders.
  8. Maintain an inventory of personal tools.
  9. Stay updated with factory technical bulletins and participate in training.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to foster loyalty and revenue.
Minimum Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of various makes and models.
  • Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate or in process.
  • Red Seal Certification is an asset.
  • Post-secondary training or related courses.
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
