Job summary

Speedy Auto Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician for on-site work at our Burlington, Canada location. The role requires 5+ years in automotive service, completing an automotive trades certificate and a valid technician certification.

You will inspect, repair, and test truck and automotive systems, review work orders, estimate parts and labor, and advise customers on repairs and maintenance to meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive service and repair.
• Completion of an automotive trades certificate or diploma.
• Valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts of truck systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults.
• Review work orders and document results.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repairs.
• Test automotive systems to manufacturer specifications.
