Job summary

Performance Auto Group's Brampton Mitsubishi is seeking a hardworking Service Apprentice to join the team. You will assist in examining customer vehicles, diagnosing and repairing under Mitsubishi specs, and ensure parts availability while maintaining a clean shop and aiding Licensed Technicians.

The position reports to the Service Manager and requires a valid Ontario driver’s license, team orientation, and a willingness to learn and succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive dealer experience.
• 2nd year or higher Apprentice.
• Brand experience is an asset, but not required.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnosing and repairing vehicles to Mitsubishi specifications.
• Provide customer service by examining vehicles and recommending needed service.
• Ensure all required parts for the repair process are obtained.
• Keep the shop clean and tidy and assist Licensed Automotive Technicians as required.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.

Brampton Mitsubishi is looking for team oriented, hardworking Service Apprentice to join their team. The ideal candidates will have strong work ethics and a willingness to learn and succeed. In this role, you will assist in examining customer vehicles and recommend service. You will also assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and ensure the shop is clean and tidy, and assist assigned Licensed Automotive Technicians with other duties as required. This position will report to the Service Manager.

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum 2 years of automotive dealer experience.
• 2nd year or higher Apprentice.
• Previous brand experience is considered an asset, however not necessary.
• Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs. Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Proven knowledge and experience with automotive mechanical operations.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage): $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
