Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering interior decorative and functional automotive components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and CAD software.
• Understanding of IATF 16949 quality and environmental management systems.
• Familiarity with OEM customer-specific requirements.
• Experience working directly with automotive OEMs.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as required.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of awarded program development including program management and design.
• Maintain ultimate timing through development phases and track schedules.
• Lead APQP meetings and ensure proper documentation of discussions.
• Manage design and development, DFMEA/PFMEA, and validation activities.
• Coordinate tooling, pre-production readiness, and launch activities.
