Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking candidates for production work in an automotive environment in Mississauga, ON. Roles are on a short-term, on-call basis with Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts; 1–5 shifts per week; warm/hot environment with loud machines. Pay starts at $17.95/hour with weekly direct deposit. Responsibilities include following SOPs, loading/unloading parts, standing/walking, and safety footwear.

Qualifications

• Must have CSA-approved safety shoes/steel-toed boots
• Able to lift up to 25lb repetitively
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable bending and lifting with racks of varying height
• Flexible to work some shifts during the week
• Good and reliable attendance
• Own safety steel toe shoes

Responsibilities

• Working in production facilities following standard operating procedures
• Safe working on coating products in a manufacturing facility
• Continual walking/standing/bending
• Load and unload small car parts from metal bins
• Stack parts on racking preparing for next step in production process
• Transport parts to production line
• Work on production line as required
• Lifting upto 25lbs as needed
