Job summary

Roy Foss Aurora Chrysler, part of the Foss Group of Companies, is seeking a Parts Advisor to support retail customers, wholesale accounts and our service technicians with expert knowledge and high-energy service.

You will help customers select parts, take orders, provide price quotes, and maintain inventory levels while delivering timely parts delivery to wholesale accounts. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Automotive Parts experience.
• Experience using a DMS – Reynolds and Reynolds is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow set and standard procedures.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and take self-initiative.
• Basic computer skills and a comfort with learning new software and systems.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers with high quality service; identifying and ordering the correct parts.
• Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes and any other information needed.
• Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts.
• Receive payments from retail customers.
• Handle customer concerns immediately and according to dealership guidelines.
• Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjust inventory system and assure safety.
• Manage inventory and maintain stock levels.
• Delivery of parts to wholesale accounts.
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.
