Job summary

NewRoads Automotive Group is seeking a parts clerk in Newmarket to handle customer needs at the counter and process invoices and statements. You will supply quotes and sales to service and wholesale clients, assist with shipping, and maintain a tidy Parts Department.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and teamwork within a busy, growth-minded automotive group in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year telephone-based customer service experience.
• Excellent telephone communications skills and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
• Prepare invoices and customer statements with accuracy.
• Provide parts quotes and sales to service, internal, retail, and wholesale clients.
• Assist with shipping and delivery of parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the Parts Department.

ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle parts requirementsof customers through counter service and sales;
• Prepare detailed invoicesand customer statements;
• Supplying parts quotes andsales to service, internal, retail, and wholesale clients;
• Assist with shipping asnecessary;
• Supply service technicianswith parts ordered through parts requisition forms;
• Answer phone calls on anongoing basis;
• Maintain the inventory andcleanliness of the Parts Department;
• Verify receiving shipmentsby checking order against the packing list;
• Assist in keeping partsclean and shelf section area stocked and orderly;
• Follow-up on shortages andexpedite through reporting to Parts Manager;
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions,inventory, and procedures;
• Work in partnership withdepartment managers and employees to maximize store sales and in-storepresence;
• When necessary, help inthe delivery of parts to clients;
• Personal ProtectiveEquipment (safety glasses and safety shoes) to be worn at all times whennecessary;
• Performs other duties asrequired

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of PBS isconsidered an asset
• Minimum 2-yeartelephone-based customer service experience.
• Possess exceptionallystrong telephone communications skills.
• To be a dealership/brandadvocate promoting extraordinary customer service.
• Must be detail-oriented,thorough, and able to work independently.
• Is knowledgeable aboutdealership operations.
• Flexibility andadaptability.
