Job summary

CSN-Collision-1 is seeking an experienced automotive refinisher to prepare surfaces, apply primers and finishes, and ensure high-quality paint results on vehicles. The role requires attention to detail and safe work practices in a busy shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in automotive refinishing, can work independently or with a team, and communicates effectively with colleagues to deliver top workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive refinishing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
• Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve desired shades and finishes.
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and other finishes using spray guns and hand tools.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, consistency, and defects; perform touch-ups as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination or accidents.
• Handle heavy lifting of parts or materials safely while adhering to safety guidelines.
