Job summary

CSN 427 Auto Collision in the GTA is looking for an Auto Body Prepper to join our team. The Prepper will prep surfaces for the painter and apply masking techniques to ensure a seamless paint finish.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of body shop experience; candidates registered as an Apprentice are welcome. This is a full-time, permanent, in-person role with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in body shop – 1+ years preferred
• Registered Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and perform the job efficiently.
• Follow standardized production processes.
• Mask vehicles prior to and following the paint process.
• Assist in surface element removal on panels, parts, etc.
• Surface prep for items needed to paint.
• Assist Automotive Painters with maintenance of spray booths.
• Upon completion of an assigned job, approach the Foreman to inspect the job.
