Job summary
Orlick Industries Ltd. is seeking a Packaging Operator & Inspector to prepare high quality automotive parts for shipping, pack, weigh, label and perform visual inspection to ensure defects are caught before dispatch.
The role requires following customer packing procedures, maintaining a clean and safe packing area, updating records, and meeting daily production and shipping targets on rotating day/afternoon shifts in Hamilton, Ontario.
Qualifications
- Experience in packaging and inspection processes.
- Attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to follow defined packing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
- Perform visual inspection of parts according to quality standards or alerts.
- Ensure all parts meet defined quality and safety criteria before packing.
- Follow customer packing procedures to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Assemble packaging materials such as boxes and cartons.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the packing area.
- Accurately update records of packed items and report discrepancies or defects.
- Work to meet or exceed daily production and shipping targets.
