Job summary

417 Nissan, part of the AutoCanada network, seeks a hands-on transporter/maintenance assistant to support the Sales and Service teams. You will transport customers and staff, maintain the lot and showroom vehicles, and help with deliveries and reconditioning processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions. Prior cleaning products/tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and cleaning tools (power washers is an asset).
• Must be dependable with strong attention to detail and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Maintain building and grounds.
• Support Sales and Service departments with daily duties.
• Organize and park vehicles for sale and service.
• Remove vehicle coverings and ID tags before returning to customers.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages and report issues.
• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars.
• Assist with shop clean‑up and deliveries as needed.
• Clean exteriors according to seasonal needs (e.g., snow removal).
• Identify lot merchandising needs and communicate to the manager.
• Place signage on vehicles for advertising.
• Monitor and organize vehicles as they move through reconditioning.
