Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Experience with counterbalance forklift, reach truck, order picker, and walkie rider is preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems is an asset.
• Ability to work overtime and various shifts as required.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Forklift Driver to join our client’s team on the night shift.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials efficiently and accurately.
• Supply production lines with materials and remove finished goods as required.
• Perform receiving and shipping transactions using RF scanners or warehouse systems.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects or safety concerns immediately.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including pedestrian awareness and traffic control requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized aisles, storage locations, and work areas.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and electronic transactions.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits when required.
• Work effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to meet operational objectives.
• Adhere to quality standards and report any product damage, inventory discrepancies, or process deviations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating one or more of the following:
• Counterbalance forklift
• Reach truck
• Order picker (preferred)
• Walkie rider/pallet truck (preferred)
• Experience handling and transporting materials safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is an asset.
• Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping documentation, and work instructions.
• Proven attendance and reliability record.
• Ability to work overtime and various shifts as required.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material replenishment is considered an asset

WORK AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Exposure to noise, temperature variations, and frequent interruptions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in varying temperatures
• Overtime may be required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• $ 2 3 per hour

• Full-Time ( Night shift time - 10 pm - 06a m )
