INKAS Sa is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead daily electrical integration and assembly for armored and specialty vehicle programs. You will supervise electrical technicians, coordinate workflow, and ensure quality and safety compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical Supervisor to lead daily electrical integration and assembly operations for armored and specialty vehicle programs. This role is responsible for supervising electrical technicians, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of vehicle electrical systems. With strong technical expertise in automotive electrical systems, wiring, diagnostics, and vehicle integration, you will provide shop floor leadership and technical guidance to support the successful delivery of complex vehicle builds.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily electrical installation, integration, and testing activities across multiple vehicle production programs.
  • Plan and coordinate workflow, labor allocation, and production priorities while collaborating with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Oversee the installation of vehicle wiring harnesses, power distribution systems, lighting systems, communications equipment, surveillance systems, security systems, and other electronic components.
  • Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation to ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with design requirements.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance, resolving technical issues, bottlenecks, and non-conformances through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic system issues during vehicle assembly, testing, and commissioning.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards, conduct workplace inspections, and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop electrical technicians by supporting performance, training, skills development, and team engagement.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, custom projects, and engineering changes during production.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, standardization, and workplace safety.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with automotive, commercial vehicle, mobile equipment, or specialty vehicle electrical systems.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in armored vehicle manufacturing or specialty vehicle upfitting.
  • Experience supervising electrical technicians or vehicle integration teams.
  • Knowledge of CAN Bus, J1939, or vehicle communication systems.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training.
  • Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, Industrial Electrician certification, or equivalent technical training.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to wear required PPE and work safely around manufacturing equipment and energized electrical systems.
Working Conditions

This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular exposure to vehicle assembly operations, electrical testing activities, fabrication processes, overhead cranes, forklifts, and powered equipment. The role requires working safely around manufacturing processes that may involve noise, dust, and other shop-floor conditions. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required to support production demands and customer delivery schedules.
