Qualifications

• Knowledge of current automotive mechanic and technology.
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while lifting and carrying items.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to plan and organize daily tasks.
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to find solutions to problems and adapt to challenging situations.
• Knowledge of automotive parts lookup system (asset).

Responsibilities

• Maximize the customer experience by providing timely and correct vehicle components.
• Process Licensed Automotive Technicians' requests for parts and tires.
• Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Automobile Technicians and Automotive Service Installers.
• Source and order automotive parts, shop supplies and products through authorized suppliers.
• Maintain and control accuracy of inventory.
• Test and fill batteries, test starters and alternators.
• Stock shelves in storage/display areas.
• Process returns, warranties and castings as required.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
