Volkswagen Villa in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to join our service team. You will learn under senior technicians, diagnose vehicle issues, and perform routine maintenance while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Enrolled or completed vocational/technical automotive training is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs.
• Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Learn to inspect and test vehicles for functionality and safety.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling tools and equipment.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Attend training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in delivering vehicles to customers and provide basic maintenance guidance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman and/or Service Manager.
