Job summary

Bramgate Automotive Inc. in Brampton is seeking an ambitious Apprentice Technician to support the Autobody Service team at our collision centre.

The role focuses on vehicle inspection, diagnosing service needs, basic body shop tasks, and assisting senior technicians while maintaining a clean, safe workshop. This hands-on opportunity is open to 2nd-3rd level Body Shop Apprentice students enrolled with the Ontario College of Trades, with 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred, and a valid

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in Ontario College of Trades 2nd-3rd level Body Shop Apprentice.
• 2–3 years of direct work experience, preferably in luxury dealership.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Willing to participate in ongoing technical training.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles.
• Assist with diagnosing body shop service requirements.
• Complete basic body shop services and repairs.
• Assist Service Technicians with services and repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workshop.

Position Summary

The Autobody Service Apprentice Technician will support the Service Technicians completing work assignments for services and repairs. They will ensure vehicle clean-up, as well as maintain a safe and clean service workshop.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or post-secondary education.
• Currently enrolled in Ontario College of Trades 2nd-3rd level Body Shop Service Apprentice Program.
• Willing to participate in on-going technical training as required.
• 2-3 years of direct work experience, preferably in luxury dealership.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Safety shoes.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
