Job summary

QualityAI is seeking a Test Automation Lead in Canada to drive automation strategy across products. You will work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to define QA roadmaps, set up automated tests with Playwright/TypeScript, and lead a team of QA engineers through CI/CD integrations and framework development.

Qualifications

• Champion QA automation principles and define a holistic QA roadmap with Product Owners and Scrum teams.
• 3/5+ expertise in automation tools and framework development; hands-on with Playwright + TS or Selenium/Cypress.
• Strong communication; prioritize QA tasks; provide daily progress updates and documentation.
• Experience setting up tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with keyword, data driven, hybrid and BDD frameworks.
• Ability to mentor the team and lead automation efforts.
• Experience leading automation teams and QA consulting.

We are looking for a Test Automation Lead to join our growing team in Canada

Job description:

We are looking for Playwright experience with any language (TS/JS/Java/Python).

Must Haves:

• Champion at Quality engineering principles of Automation with ability to independently liaise with Product Owners, Product Development team & Scrum teams to gather requirements and further define a holistic QA roadmap
• Technical Expertise (3/5) in Any Automation tools and Automation Framework Development/Standards with Hands-on Experience : Playwright + TypeScript OR Selenium OR Cypress OR Others; Willingness to learn Playwright eventually in iCapital systems
• Strong Communication Skills with expected responsibility to prioritize QA tasks, and work with teams to resolve any blockers, provide daily progress updates to the iCapital Manager, and plan all necessary documentation as artefacts
• Experience in setting up running & integrating automated tests through CI/CD pipeline
• Working experience in keyword, data driven, hybrid and BDD frameworks
• Ability to hit the ground running and self-starters & also mentor the entire team to progress on QA Targets
• Experience with leading automation Teams & QA Consulting
