Vanderlande is seeking a Service Technician I to support a large automated warehouse in Canada. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of complex issues in high-tech material handling equipment.

Ideal candidates bring strong electro-mechanical skills, experience with automated systems, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. The role requires safety-minded, proactive problem-solving and durable communication across shifts,

Qualifications

• Electrical license required (Industrial Electrician or Red Seal Millwright)
• Experience with automated systems and electro-mechanical skills
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficient with hand tools and measuring instruments
• Valid driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot non-routine problems in the material handling system
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical/electrical components
• Interpret engineering drawings and system layouts
• Communicate status to teams and stakeholders
• Attend callouts, alarms and monitor system from control room
• Replace spare parts and document maintenance activities
