Reporting to the Senior Process Control Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department. Your responsibilities include :

• Owning technical hardware and software issues related to process control and automation systems, including regulatory control, PLCs, process monitoring, data historian, communication networks, and HMIs.
• Providing process control and PLC expertise, applying advanced troubleshooting skills to assist operations, maintenance, and technical personnel.
• Assisting in developing training materials and SOPs for plant training groups.
• Ensuring controls align with plant optimization goals.

What You Need to Succeed :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Process Control or a trades qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Process Control Engineer in mineral processing.
• Hands-on experience with VPO, PLC programming, and equipment startup, preferably with Schneider Modicon Quantum / M580 hardware and Control Expert platform.
• Expertise in Ethernet communication and SCADA programming, with knowledge of Aveva Plant SCADA and OSIsoft Pi data historian as assets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Work Schedule :

• 14 days of work followed by 14 days off at Detour Lake mine, then 3 days off.
• Accommodations and meals are provided on-site at no cost. Transportation and other travel expenses are covered according to your residence in Canada.
