Job description

Summary :

Responsible for integrating installing testing and providing training and support (both remote and onsite) for various automated coding and printing systems.

Essential Functions :

• Install set up and troubleshoot automated grade marking coding and printing systems.
• Contribute to the development of new system concepts or the optimization and improvement of existing equipment.
• Actively participate in tests according to customer project specifications using hand tools power tools or precision instruments.
• Read and interpret engineered drawings and equipment specifications.
• Perform project quality control checkout procedures and troubleshoot any issues identified.
• Provide customer training upon completion of onsite commissioning.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
• Demonstrate the ability to diagnose troubleshoot and resolve electrical mechanical and application issues on industrial machine lines.

Qualifications : Education :

Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Engineering Technologist Trades certification or College equivalent

Requirements :

• Must be willing to travel to our onsite location : Signode Canada ULC 16 Cleve Court Halton Hills Ontario L7G 0L7 Ontario Canada

Ability to travel to client sites int the US and throughout Quebec and Ontario 2530.

Experience :

• Atleast5yearsofexperienceinautomationwithinmanufacturing / industrial.
• Knowledgeofindustrialnetworkingtointegratesystemsintocustomerprocessesandcommunicationprotocols.
• MusthavepracticalworkingexperienceinPLCProgrammingLogic(AllenBradley).
• Experiencewithcustomerserviceinthefieldandoverthephone.
• StrongknowledgeofelectricalassemblypneumaticsandPLCs.
• Goodunderstandingoftechnicalpartsmachinesandelectricalschematics.
• Exposuretobasicscanningandvisionsystems.
• Experiencewithinkjetcodingandlumbergrademarkingsystemsisasignificantasset.
