Job summary

Westburne, Rexel Canada’s automation leader, seeks an Automation Sales Manager in Burnaby to drive Rockwell Controllers, HMI and networks across the BC region. You will report to the Regional Automation Manager and support customers with deep technical and application knowledge while steering sales performance of your product line.

The role requires 2+ years in automation sales, a relevant diploma, and willingness to travel to the US for training.

Qualifications

Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree required.
Minimum 2 years in automation or technical product sales/support.
Solid understanding of sales principles and industrial networking (Ethernet IP).
Proficiency with Rockwell Automation Controllers and HMI software.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute annual strategic business plan for sales development.
Develop and execute commercial activities within the strategic plan.
Manage opportunity funnel to hit sales objectives.
Pursue and develop new business opportunities.
Support Rockwell Automation sales reps with account planning and execution.
Act as pre-sale technical consultant to provide solutions to customers.
Provide post-sale technical support to build customer competency and confidence.
Conduct technical presentations and product updates.
Willingness to travel regularly to the US for training.
Execute product launches, seminars and promotional programs.
