Job summary

Bank is seeking an experienced tester for a 1-year contract in Toronto to lead manual and automation testing across banking products. The role involves creating and executing test plans, writing automated tests with Selenium and Java, and validating data through SQL queries.

You will participate in agile ceremonies, document results thoroughly, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality across releases. Strong knowledge of API testing (Rest, Postman) and UI testing is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on tester with 8–10 years in domain.
• Experience in banking and payments testing.
• Proficient in manual and automation testing.
• Experience enhancing or building a testing framework.
• Ability to write simple Java code.
• API testing using Rest and Postman.
• UI testing with Selenium and Cucumber Java.
• Proficient in SQL joins.
