Job summary

KB1 Group Inc. in Fort McMurray is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to provide day-to-day support for plant control systems, focusing on DCS troubleshooting, modification, and graphics development.

You will work with Operations, Maintenance, and Instrumentation teams to maintain reliable operations, participate in commissioning and MOC activities, and ensure safe, compliant control system performance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS.
• Experience working in an operating industrial plant environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
